Job summary

The City of Maypearl is seeking a Parks Maintenance Supervisor to help provide safe, aesthetically pleasing athletic facilities and to communicate with the public and private sectors about events and maintenance concerns. You will supervise staff, schedule tasks, and ensure high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance at facilities, managing tournament play prep, and maintaining vehicles/equipment while following safety policies and training requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Irrigation License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of 8 hour TDA approved chemical safety class within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform maintenance at athletic facilities.
• Schedule maintenance staff for tournament play.
• Oversee maintenance operations and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Use Cityworks for maintenance records and work orders.
• Attend training on products, practices, and trends in athletic maintenance.
