Job summary

The City of Maypearl is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the city’s building maintenance and custodial teams. Under supervision, you will supervise staff, allocate tasks, coordinate schedules, review payroll, manage inventories, and obtain bids for projects to keep facilities safe and functional.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree or vocational training in building maintenance is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in installation and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and interior finish.
• 1 year in a leadership role involving supervising, training and assigning work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coordinate custodial staff and building maintenance personnel.
• Review payroll, manage inventories, and obtain bids for maintenance projects.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to ensure safe buildings.
