City of Amarillo seeks an Athletic Field Maintenance Foreperson to supervise crews responsible for maintaining City athletic fields and facilities. You will train staff, monitor safety, and ensure high-quality field conditions.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects, inspecting facilities, and managing equipment and irrigation systems. A supervisory role with hands-on field work and a focus on timely, safe completion of tasks is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain Pesticide Applicator License within 1 year.
• Experience in park maintenance athletics or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises crews, technicians and seasonal employees.
• Maintains all City athletic facilities and fields.
• Inspects facilities and documents daily reports.
• Oversees safety training and proper use of equipment.
• Monitors irrigation systems and repairs as needed.
• Manages materials budgets and tool inventories.
