Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform regular mowing, trimming, and weed eating across all athletic fields and surrounding landscapes.
• Line athletic fields for gamedays and practices, maintaining consistent accuracy.
• Paint and manage dugouts, fences, and related field structures to uphold facility standards.
• Edge warning tracks and field perimeters to preserve clean boundaries and safe transitions.
• Conduct field turf grooming and surface maintenance to promote even playing conditions.
• Perform snow removal on, off, and around athletic fields to ensure accessibility and readiness in winter conditions.
• Oversee gameday field preparation for practices, rentals, and special events.
• Apply pesticides and weed control treatments to all athletic fields in accordance with safety regulations.
• Perform annual grass maintenance including seeding, fertilizing, and laying sod.
• Support general facility upkeep, addressing seasonal needs, small repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
