Job summary

Osceola County is seeking a Facilities Manager to support daily operations of the county sports complex, coordinating usage, events, and staff.

You will assist with budgeting, policy implementation, and contract oversight while ensuring safety and high-quality community programs. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years of responsible experience performing duties consistent with the Essential Job Functions.
• One year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Superintendent with day-to-day management and operations.
• Coordinate and schedule use of county sports facilities.
• Lead and support staff for special events and games.
• Develop and monitor budgets and contracts with service providers.
• Prepare plans and diagrams for events and agreements.
• Collaborate with Experience Kissimmee and Central Florida Sports Commission.
• Maintain records, rosters, and league fees; handle reservations and reporting.
• Ensure safety, maintenance, and facility readiness during events.
