Norfolk State University is seeking Athletic Event Workers to support the execution of athletic events and daily facility operations. Roles include ticketing, ushering, parking, security, and venue maintenance during the 2026 football season and other NSU events.

No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is needed. Flexible availability on evenings, weekends, and event days is essential. Must comply with university policies and background checks as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Assist Athletics Operations staff with preparation, setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
• Support ticketing operations and guest entry procedures.
• Assist with parking operations and directing vehicles and guests.
• Provide ushering, crowd-management, and general event-support services.
• Assist with security functions per Athletics and University procedures.
• Support facility operations as a rover or monitor designated areas.
• Assist with venue setup and cleanup.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness before, during, and after events.
• Provide courteous customer service to students, employees, guests, and vendors.
• Follow instructions from Athletics Operations supervisors and event personnel.
