Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in an event management role is preferred.
• Must understand NCAA rules and Conference policies for all sports.
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
• Judgment and problem-solving skills for rapid, informed decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a changing environment.
• Knowledge of safety codes and risk management for events.
• Familiarity with arenas, stadiums, and event staffing.
• Knowledge of crowd management and safety protocols.
• Ability to issue clear directives and maintain standards.
• Experience training and evaluating staff to meet policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with office software, databases, and AV components.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution of intercollegiate athletic events.

• Lead part-time staff and ensure excellent customer service.
