The Regents of the University of California, on behalf of UCLA, seeks an Events Specialist 3 CX to coordinate planning and execution of athletic events. Under supervision, you will be the main contact for game operations, collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality events.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; two years in event management; strong knowledge of NCAA policies; ability to lead staff and ensure safety.

Formación

• Minimum two (2) years in an event management role.
• Working knowledge of NCAA; learn and adhere to game management policies.
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities for event operations.
• Ability to meet deadlines amid changing priorities.
• Knowledge of safety codes, emergency procedures, and risk management.
• Understanding arenas/venues and staffing needs for events.
• Knowledge of crowd management and security procedures.
• Ability to give clear directives and supervise staff.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as main point of contact for game/event operations.
• Plan, develop, execute and review events with internal and external partners.
• Maintain safe, secure environments; uphold NCAA/Conf/Balances policies.
• Lead and evaluate part-time staff; ensure adherence to standards.
• Communicate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
