Job summary

Job description

Primary Duty

This position will oversee assigned facilities during and after league play.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the basic rules of various sports; this position may cross train between sports.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical ability used to calculate scores, league standings, fees, etc.
  • Skills in communication and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to be flexible and friendly to city staff, coaches, league coordinators and citizens to ensure a positive reflection of City operations.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing including proficient listening skills, rules of grammar, practices of document preparation, and conveying information in a concise, tactful, professional manner.
  • Must have polished and proven people skills with a focus of being able to interact well with a diverse population and provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
  • Ability to be successful in a team environment.
  • Ability to be a self-starter.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change in priorities while working with frequent interruptions.
Education and Experience
Required
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificates and Licenses Required
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License Class "C" with a good driving record
