Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist – Off Field Operations to help deliver an exceptional athlete experience in-store. You will engage customers, provide product guidance, and contribute to a high-energy, athlete-first environment.

You will also onboard and train teammates, uphold merchandising standards, and drive store processes for accuracy and efficiency while supporting loyalty programs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by engaging athletes to understand shopping needs and provide clear, accurate information about products.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members, focusing on best practices and selling skills.
• Serves as a go-to expert in designated process categories to ensure smooth execution and high productivity.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards, executes floor sets, signage, pricing, and replenishment.
• Promotes participation in company programs and creates a welcoming store environment.
