Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an Event Associate to support in-store sport events and sponsored camps. You will provide trusted product recommendations aligned with each athlete's skill level and help lead field programming with the Field Lead/Coach.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, building community relationships, training teammates, and promoting store programs while maintaining safety and loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Strong detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the highest level of customer service and ensure teammates deliver athlete-first service.
• Assist the Field Lead/Coach with field programming and guide athletes to have fun and participate safely.
• Build relationships with local schools, community organizations, sports leagues, and home schools for partnerships and events.
• Collaborate with the Community Team to bring clinics, camps, and afterschool programming to the Field.
• Provide teammate training and coaching to support store vision and experience.
• Adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to all loss prevention standards.
• Promote programs including warranty sales, Scorecard loyalty, private-label cards, and seasonal promotions.
• Provide consultative product advice to athletes and demonstrate strong product knowledge.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
