Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Cashier to provide an exceptional shopping experience by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and assisting with purchases and returns.

You will promote loyalty programs, warranty offerings, and private label credit enrollment while following front-end procedures and safety policies. Expect to support teammates and handle various store tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales transactions and returns.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe and respected.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
