Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Cashier to deliver a premier shopping experience. You will greet customers, assess their needs, and guide them through purchases and returns with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include promoting loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label card enrollment while following safety policies and ensuring confidentiality. You’ll support the store team with a cooperative, inclusive attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs.
• Process customer sales transactions and returns according to Front-End procedures.
• Promote programs such as loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label cards.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and operating procedures; maintain confidentiality.
• Create an inclusive store environment and support the team across the shop.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
