Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Front-End Cashier to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, process sales and returns, and promote loyalty programs while maintaining safety and confidentiality policies.

Role emphasizes inclusive, team-driven store support and high standards in front-end operations. Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred and dynamic compensation is provided within the stated pay range.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to support their shopping experience.
• Process customer sales transactions and returns according to Front-End procedures.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty, credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcomed and respected.
