Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Front-End Cashier to deliver exceptional customer experiences by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and processing transactions accurately at the register.

You will promote store programs, follow established front-end procedures, and support team safety and loss prevention policies while maintaining an inclusive, fast-paced shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Process customer sales transactions and returns in accordance with established Front-End procedures.
• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Promote company programs (customer loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
