Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist - Apparel to deliver an engaging, confident shopping experience by connecting athletes with the right apparel for performance and daily wear. You will combine product knowledge with strong service to drive results and be part of a team that values style, comfort, and performance.

You will onboard teammates, follow store procedures, and maintain merchandising standards while helping customers with loyalty programs and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging customers to understand their shopping needs and provide clear, accurate information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members, serving as subject matter expert in their area of the store.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards per floor set plans, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes customer participation in programs such as loyalty, warranties, and credit enrollment.
• Creates an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
