Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist – Apparel to deliver an engaging shopping experience, combining product expertise with strong service to drive results. You’ll connect athletes with the right apparel for performance and everyday wear, within a team that values inclusion and customer-focused outcomes.

As part of the store team, you will help onboard colleagues, maintain merchandising standards, and participate in loyalty and warranty programs while upholding safety and store policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new and existing team members as subject matter expert of their area.
• Demonstrates efficiency in process execution while maintaining an athlete-first mindset.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans and signage requirements.
• Promotes participation in company programs such as loyalty and warranty sales.
• Creates an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes are welcomed and treated with respect.
