Saic is seeking a qualified Part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to enhance the training services at the Raleigh‑Durham ATCT/TRACON in Morrisville, NC. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in air traffic control, particularly with FAA operations, ensuring exceptional delivery of classroom and simulation training.

The role requires strong technical skills with current ATC automation and a proven ability to mentor future air traffic controllers. Candidates must have at least five years of experience as a Certified Professional Controller.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience as a contract instructor at an FAA facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training.
• Provide mentoring for students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO).
• Participate in curriculum design and development.
