Job summary

Saic is seeking an experienced Full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Boise ATCT/TRACON (BOI). This role involves delivering high-quality training to a variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).

The ideal candidate must possess at least five years of FAA CPC experience and be capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance. A focus on mentoring and strong technical skills in ATC automation and simulation are required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic.
• Experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training in classroom and simulation settings.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO).
• Participate in curriculum design and development.
