Job summary

Big Sky Resort is seeking an At Your Service Representative for the Village Center front desk to assist guests with inquiries, check-ins and check-outs. You will provide accurate information about the mountain, dining, lodging and transportation and work closely with multiple departments.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, hospitality experience, and the ability to multitask under pressure. This is a full-time seasonal position with benefits and staff perks offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information regarding mountain, activities, dining options, hours, lodging, transportation and directions.
• Maintain knowledge of property management system and other departments’ duties.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally; handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Balance cash at start and end of each shift; operate office equipment and communication devices.
• Work 8-hour shifts, sitting or standing; demonstrate integrity and discretion with guest information.
• Collaborate with team to create a positive, productive, and service-minded environment.
• Report to Manager on Duty in a timely manner to escalate issues when needed.
• Adhere to Big Sky Resort and Boyne, USA policies and procedures.

Overview

At Your Service Agents manage the call center for information and communication throughout Big Sky Resort. We communicate efficiently with other departments as well as other team members through phone, email, various computer systems, and radio.

We take pride in being the team that others go to when they have questions that need to be answered or tasks that need to be completed and we work well under pressure and can be flexible and adaptable when needed in this versatile department.

Training will take place with the Front Desk team and as AYS Representatives are responsible for a variety of activities. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work at a faster-than-average pace.

At Your Service is located in our Village Center and job duties will include covering the VC desk for guest inquiries, check ins and check outs. See the Front Desk job description for a comprehensive list of duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information regarding the mountain, activities, dining options, hours of operations, lodging, transportation, office equipment, and driving directions.
• Have a good working knowledge of our property management system and job duties of other departments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
• Excellent organizational skills to manage lost and found. Must be able to track and organize lost items to ensure quick returns to employees and guests
• Must be tech savvy to operate computers, copier, fax machine, phone, and radio
• Must have a willingness to help others
• Be able to handle money and accurately balance the bank at the beginning and end of each shift
• Work 8 hours shifts sitting or standing for long period of time
• Greet guests in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner
• Work with integrity, discretion and attention to detail to protect private information
• Conduct phone conversations in a friendly and professional manner
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a culture of positivity, productivity, and professionalism
• Take action to quickly and creatively solve guest problems within appropriate scope
• Communicate professionally in detail with Manager on Duty when needed in a timely manner
• Abide by and uphold Big Sky Resort and Boyne, USA policies and procedures
