Job summary

Southeastern Comp Consultants seeks a Systems Administrator to support a DoD acquisition program at Dahlgren, VA. The role involves installing, operating, configuring and maintaining OE systems, and providing IT support to developers and users in DoD environments.

Responsibilities include planning and testing in afloat and lab environments, ensuring secure, automated operations and adherence to release schedules, and collaborating with cybersecurity and network engineers.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance.
• High school diploma is required.
• Four years of hands-on technical experience supporting LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet and intranet systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, test, and configure OE systems for afloat and lab environments.
• Support Software Release Schedule and automated system administration.
• Implement cybersecurity policies and perform DoD tool-based security assessments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Install new software releases and system upgrades; evaluate patches to resolve issues.
