Job summary

Jobot, a fast growing Regional Firm, seeks Assurance Professionals in California. You will oversee audits from planning through wrap-up, guiding teams and ensuring quality under deadlines.

Lead SOX 404 and public client audits, advise on GAAP/GAAS, and contribute to disclosures, internal controls, and business development. Hybrid work offered with competitive benefits and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; Master's in Accountancy preferred.
• 6+ years of audit or public accounting experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, SOX, and SEC reporting.
• Proven supervisory, client management, and business development experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with assurance applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit engagements from planning to wrap-up and supervise audit teams.
• Apply GAAP/GAAS expertise to resolve accounting issues and draft financial statements.
• Support business development, client retention, and engagement profitability.
