Geffen Mesher is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to lead audit, review, and assurance engagements for a diverse client base. You will guide engagement teams, manage budgets, and advise clients on accounting and regulatory matters.

The role emphasizes staff development and delivering high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 5+ years in public accounting, strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and proven leadership in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years in public accounting assurance/audit/attest with progression in responsibility.
• Active CPA license
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and audit methodologies.
• Leadership in supervising, mentoring and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assurance engagements through full lifecycle.
• Evaluate complex accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters.
• Manage engagement economics with pricing, budgeting, and staffing.
• Develop client relationships with executives and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with tax, advisory, outsourced accounting, and consulting teams.
• Support business development and cross-selling within construction sector.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff and senior associates.
