Geffen Mesher is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager, Construction to lead audit, review, and attest engagements for construction clients. The role emphasizes technical accounting expertise, client advisory, and engagement leadership in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

You will manage complex accounting issues, oversee engagement economics, and mentor staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience in assurance, audit, or attest services with progressive responsibility and engagement leadership experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Experience serving construction contractors and construction industry clients is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction audit, review, and assurance engagements throughout the full engagement lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on complex construction accounting issues including revenue recognition and WIP schedules.
• Oversee engagement economics: pricing, budgeting, billing, staffing, and resources to meet profitability and delivery targets.
• Develop client relationships with executives and stakeholders through proactive communication.
• Mentor and develop staff and senior associates; support recruiting and retention.
• Collaborate with tax, advisory, and consulting teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
