Job summary

Geffen Mesher & Company is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager, Construction to lead audit, review, and attest engagements for construction contractors. You will guide complex accounting issues, manage engagement economics, and build strong client relationships in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA license, 5+ years in assurance, and construction industry expertise, with hybrid work options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience in assurance with leadership experience.
• Active CPA license required.
• Experience serving construction contractors and knowledge of ASC 606, WIP schedules, and job cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction audit, review, and assurance engagements through full lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on complex construction accounting issues (ASC 606, WIP, job costs).
• Oversee engagement economics: pricing, budgeting, billing, scope, staffing, profitability.
• Develop client relationships with executives and stakeholders through proactive communication.
