Job summary

Chortek is seeking an Assurance Internship in Wisconsin to gain real-world audit and assurance experience alongside seasoned accounting professionals. You'll apply classroom concepts to client engagements and develop practical accounting skills.

You’ll work on audit, review, and compilation engagements, prepare workpapers, test transactions, and learn GAAP and professional standards in a collaborative, supportive culture. Summer 2028 Accounting Associate interns program is noted.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Junior or senior standing preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Availability to work during the Summer 2028 internship period

Assurance Internship

Are you looking to gain real-world audit and assurance experience while working alongside experienced accounting professionals? As an Assurance Intern at Chortek, you’ll have the opportunity to apply classroom concepts to client engagements, develop technical accounting skills, and learn how assurance services help businesses build trust and confidence in their financial reporting.

This internship provides meaningful hands-on experience, structured coaching, and exposure to a variety of industries and client engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements.
• Prepare and organize audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
