Job summary

McKonly & Asbury, LLP is offering a paid internship designed to support our audit, tax, and consulting teams. Interns will work approximately 20 hours per week and must be in the office from 1/5/27 through 4/15/27.

This program emphasizes developing core technical competencies while delivering excellent client service. Interns gain exposure to fundamental auditing, tax, and consulting concepts, with guidance to recognize issues, prepare clear work papers, and become proficient in firm software

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an accounting major at an accredited college or university.
• Interest in public accounting as a career.
• Available to work in the office during the internship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.

The dates of this internship will take place from 1/5/27 - 4/15/27. Interns will work approximately 20 hour/week during their internship. This is a paid position, and we require interns to work in the office.

Technical Competence

• Recognize fundamental auditing, tax, and consulting issues and concepts.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized work papers and documents.
• Become proficient in firm software and tools.

Client Service and Engagement Management

• Understand the importance of providing excellent client service.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients.
• Appropriately prioritize and manage time to complete tasks efficiently and approach assignments in a logical, organized manner.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed thoroughly before moving on to new assignments.
