Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Masters program in Accounting, required
• Pursuing a masters degree in Accounting, preferred
• Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and become familiar with GAAP and GAAS
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with audit stages
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagements
• Communicates with clients' customers, creditors, banks and related parties on audit issues
• Prepares and documents work in working papers using BDO templates
• Contributes ideas and listens to team members’ views
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings
• Performs other duties as required
