Job summary

Successful candidates will be enrolled in an Accounting program, with a CPA path in progress, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Masters program in Accounting, required.
• Pursuing a masters degree in Accounting, preferred.
• Leadership experience, preferred.
• Actively pursuing CPA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a structured on-the-job training program and become familiar with GAAP and GAAS.
• Becomes familiar with BDO audit methodology to assist with various stages of the audit process.
• Provides support functions to the audit staff during engagement.
• Communicates with clients' customers, creditors, banks and related parties concerning audit issues.
• Prepares and documents work in working papers using BDO tools and templates.
• Contributes ideas to audit teams and listens to others.
• Completes one assigned accounting/audit research project and presents findings.
