Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Intern for our Assurance practice in the US. You will support problem solving and fact-finding, learning from experienced teammates who provide direction, coaching and opportunities to grow. This role offers hands-on exposure to our client base and the firm’s practices and people.

You will assist in audit processes, document work, and participate in on-the-job training, with opportunities to pursue a CPA while contributing to the team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in structured on-the-job training to learn GAAP/GAAS.
• Supports audit staff during engagements and documentation.
• Communicates with clients and related parties on audit issues.
• Prepares working papers using firm tools and templates.
• Completes an assigned accounting or audit research project and presents findings.
