Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an Assistant Manager - Stewarding to support the Stewarding Manager in delivering high standards across back-of-house operations. You will help manage the department as a productive cost centre, ensuring clean equipment and organized spaces to support kitchens, outlets and banquets.

Ideally, you hold a relevant hospitality degree or diploma and have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in F&B service, kitchen or stewarding, or as a hotel team leader with strong standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Assistant Manager in F&B service, kitchen or stewarding.
• Experience as Team Leader in a hotel or large restaurant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Stewarding Manager to run the department efficiently and cost-consciously.
• Ensure back-of-house areas are organized and clean, providing clean equipment to kitchens, outlets, and banquets.

Job description

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Manager - Stewarding is responsible to assist the Stewarding Manager in managing the Stewarding Department as an efficient, and productive cost centre, by maintaining an organised and clean back-of-house area in Food and Beverage and by providing all kitchens, outlets and banquets with clean operating equipment, based on expected business levels.

Ideally with a relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager in F&B service, kitchen or stewarding, or as Team Leader in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
