Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Director Human Resources to oversee the stewarding department’s daily operations and ensure sanitation and efficiency across all food production areas.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, controlling costs, coordinating with outlets and vendors, and upholding safety standards while delivering exceptional service and room discounts for associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in stewarding or kitchen operations.
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day stewarding operations and staff.
• Control costs, breakage, and inventory quality.
• Assist in budget preparation for stewarding operations.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are clean and well maintained.
• Coordinate with other departments and vendors.
• Enforce safety and health regulations and company policies.
