Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager in Phoenix, AZ to support the Project Manager and EPC leadership. You will help manage safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and contract administration for diverse EPC projects across aviation, energy, and water sectors.

The role emphasizes collaboration with field teams, subcontractors, and clients, with duties spanning planning, risk reviews, procurement, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Manage safety, quality, schedule, and cost control for EPC projects.
• Coordinate procurement, contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation, turnover, and client interface across field activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
• Support development of project plans, risk reviews, and procurement plans.
• Assist with bid processes, RFPs, scope of work, and contract document creation.
• Support invoicing, cost reporting, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project standards.
• Assist with project turnover and closeout activities.
