Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking an Associate Vice President of Transportation - Pennsylvania Lead, based in either Harrisburg or Pittsburgh. Lead the PA Transportation practice, drive growth, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality project delivery across design and construction services.

Qualifications

• BSCE required; MSCE preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 20+ years of transportation design engineering experience with leadership in an engineering consulting environment.
• Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects and standards.
• Strong knowledge of LRFD, AASHTO policies, and transportation design guidelines.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary transportation programs and teams.
• Familiarity with MicroStation/InRoads and OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for Pennsylvania transportation operations and growth.
• Lead design and construction teams across multiple offices to deliver projects.
• Drive business development, client engagement, and market expansion.
• Mentor transportation professionals and support recruitment and development.
• Represent PRIME AE with PennDOT, PTC, and industry partners.
• Oversee program delivery, quality, and performance metrics across projects.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on growth and excellence.
