The Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership and oversight for student recruitment, enrollment, and retention initiatives that support the University’s enrollment goals. This position assists in the development and implementation of comprehensive enrollment strategies designed to enroll, and retain students through exceptional service, innovative technology, and data-informed decision making. The Associate Vice Chancellor collaborates with academic and administrative units across campus to enhance student experience, strengthen enrollment outcomes, and support institutional growth. Additionally, the position provides leadership for enrollment and registration-related systems and processes, ensuring efficient operations, continuous improvement, and student-centered services that promote access, persistence, and success.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and at least 10 years of job related experience, including some prior management experience. Typically reports to an Associate VP or VP.
Experience in admissions, public relations, sales experience or another student personnel area desired. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in college admissions, records and/or financial aid. Prefer candidates with experience in Banner and Coursleaf.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of audiences. Effective motivational skills, sales ability, and attention to detail. Must be able and willing to travel and work flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Ability to prepare and analyze data and reports. Experience working with confidential and sensitive information. Must be creative, energetic, enthusiastic self-starter committed to transparent, transformational leadership. Must be knowledgeable of the issues and trends in U.S. higher education and have a demonstrated ability to develop relationships with a diverse group of constituents. Assists with developing, refining, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating an integrated enrollment system that emphasizes data-based decision making.
Works with others in the office and across campus to develop and support retention strategies to grow enrollment.

Provides leadership for registrar office including review of student records, identifying areas for retention, evaluating courses/enrollment levels, and awarding of degrees. Analyzes enrollment patterns, course demand, and student progression data to identify opportunities that support student retention, timely degree completion, and institutional effectiveness. Develops and delivers reports and analyses on enrollment trends, course utilization, and academic demand to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and scheduling decisions.
Hires, trains, coaches and evaluate staff performance in the records office.

Collaborates regularly with others across campus, including academic departments, student life, and international programs to link student enrollment and persistence. Supports study abroad and transfer of international credit.
Provides leadership and oversight for key enrollment and academic technology systems that support student success, registration, and degree completion. Manages the online academic catalog in partnership with academic governance and university stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely implementation of curriculum changes. Oversees RisePoint and Acadeum partnerships, including registration processes, reporting, and operational support for online and collaborative academic programs. Serves as a lead for enrollment-related technology systems, leveraging data and system capabilities to enhance registration, enrollment management, degree progress monitoring, and the overall student experience.

Provides leadership and support for the expansion of graduate offerings, new program development, and enrollment initiatives designed to meet workforce and student demand.

Assists with veteran student services and enrollment initiatives to ensure timely support, successful access to educational benefits, and positive student experience. Serves as the lead administrator for technology systems that support the certification, processing, and management of veterans’ educational benefits, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Collaborates with campus partners to strengthen services and resources for military-affiliated students and supports institutional efforts to maintain recognition as a top-ranked university for veterans.
Works with faculty athletic representative and registrar to review student records and verify eligibility for Division I rosters.
