Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring Associate Veterinarians to perform compassionate in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care in Providence and surrounding areas. You’ll work independently in the field while supported by our leadership team and VCS.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and emotionally intelligent candidate with client focus.
• Ability to work independently in the field with strong clinical judgment.
• Licensed veterinarian with drive to provide in-home hospice care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care with Fear Free principles.
• Support families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and coordinate with leadership.
• Collaborate with medical leadership and care teams for patient-centered care.
• Engage in ongoing training and clinical development.
