Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Concord, NH is seeking Associate Veterinarians to provide compassionate in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. You will work independently in the field while supported by a collaborative medical leadership team and strong operational infrastructure.

This role offers flexibility, autonomy, meaningful medicine, and a low-stress environment focused on pets and families during life’s meaningful moments.

Qualifications

• DVM, VMD, or BVMS from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active veterinary license in the state of practice.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends on a rotating schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background check and MVR check post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care.
• Support families through end-of-life decisions with empathy.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with Heartstrings medical leadership and support teams.
• Participate in ongoing training and clinical development.
