Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, a privately owned in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care practice, seeks Associate Veterinarians in Phoenix and surrounding areas. You will deliver compassionate in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care while working with a supportive leadership team and Veterinary Care Specialists.

This role offers autonomy with flexible scheduling, a low-stress clinical environment, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful care for pets and families during challenging

Qualifications

• Graduated DVM/VMD/BVMS from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active veterinary license in the practicing state.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Availability to work some weekends on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care compassionately.
• Support families through end-of-life decisions with empathy.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with medical leadership and support teams.
• Participate in ongoing training and clinical development.
