The International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) invites applications for the Associate Underwriter role as part of IAIP's Early Career Program. This one-year track combines on-the-job training with exposure to underwriting disciplines and industry certifications.

Located in Alpharetta, GA, the position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and a pathway to growth within a world-wide insurance leader starting mid-2027.

Qualifications

• Recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical, with keen ability to think through issues.
• Proactive; able to organize and prioritize to meet multiple demands and commitments.
• Strong work ethic; team player; exhibits leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Arch products and services to wholesale and retail brokers
• Underwriting and pricing products, including: Financial analysis; Exposure analysis; Policy contract review and rating; Claims review
• Binding new and renewal accounts according to our underwriting philosophy and strategy
• Serving our brokers and customers
