Job summary

Arch Capital Group Ltd. is seeking high-potential graduates for the Early Careers Program (Underwriting Track).

The one-year program provides specialized underwriting training and industry certifications to launch a high-performing career in underwriting with a world-wide insurer. The Associate Underwriter will market Arch products to brokers, underwrite and price risk, review contracts, and service brokers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 3.0 GPA
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Analytical with strong issue-solving ability
• Proactive, organized, able to prioritize multiple demands
• Team player with leadership potential

Responsibilities

• Market Arch products to wholesale and retail brokers
• Underwrite and price products with financial and exposure analysis
• Review policy contracts and rating
• Review claims and support brokers and customers
• Bind new and renewal accounts per underwriting strategy
• Provide servicing to brokers and customers
