Job summary

The Marina del Rey Addiction Treatment Center in California is seeking an Addiction Therapist to provide individual and group therapy to adults facing addiction. You will manage a caseload of 10-13 clients and facilitate 2-3 groups weekly, in a Monday–Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Counseling/Psychology/Social Work, licensure (AMFT/ACSW/APCC or full), strong empathy and communication skills, and experience in addiction treatment. Training on KIPU will be provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Current licensure as AMFT, ACSW, APCC, or full licensure.
• Strong empathy and communication skills.
• Experience in addiction treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients with addiction and substance abuse challenges.

Location: Marina del Rey, CA (In Person)

Pay: $65,000-$70,000

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

• Specific experience in addiction treatment and a deep understanding of substance abuse issues.
• Familiarity and proficiency with the KIPU system.

Population

Clients primarily between the ages of 25 and 45 who are struggling with addiction and substance abuse challenges.
