Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in the United States is seeking an Associate Territory Manager to develop knowledge and experience for future Territory Manager roles, working with Turf & Ornamental customers and channel partners.

You will gain hands-on sales experience, build industry relationships, and learn to identify needs and offer solutions while training through the ATM curriculum and collaborating with product and commercial teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in horticulture, biology, turf grass science, business or related disciplines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn technical agricultural information and apply it in your territory.
  • Willingness to travel and work in assigned geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to Turf & Ornamental customers and channel partners on use, application, and stewardship of Corteva products.
  • Consult with customers to evaluate pest pressures, site conditions, product selection, and timing.
  • Support annual business planning and forecasting with key accounts with product and commercial teams.
  • Communicate technical and business information to key accounts, including pricing, terms, and deadlines.
  • Monitor performance of product and marketing programs through customer engagement and reporting.
  • Develop relationships with trade organizations and customers to promote our products.
  • Commit to the ATM training curriculum for the duration of the training program.

Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity to join our Turf & Ornamental team as an Associate Territory Manager. The Associate Territory Manager position is a preparatory role designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and experiences required to be an effective Territory Manager at Corteva. This is done through structured training, project responsibility, and day to day interactions with Territory Managers, Business Partners, and Customers. In this role, you will support Turf & Ornamental customers and channel partners—including distributors, lawn care operators, golf course professionals, nursery and green house growers and other industry partners—by identifying their needs and recommending solutions that help improve their businesses and deliver results. With positions available across the country, you’ll gain hands‑on sales experience, build valuable industry relationships, and prepare for increasing responsibility as you grow your career with Corteva. Territory Managers are the face of Corteva Agriscience, creating demand for and increasing the understanding of our products. As an Associate Territory Manager, you will work directly with our customers to gain the experience needed to manage your own territory as a Territory Manager.


What You’ll Do


  • Provide technical guidance to Turf & Ornamental customers and channel partners on the proper use, application, and stewardship of Corteva products.

  • Consult with customers and end users to evaluate pest pressures, environmental and site conditions, product selection, application methods, and timing.

  • Support annual business planning and forecasting with key accounts in collaboration with product and commercial teams.

  • Communicate technical and business information to key accounts, including pricing, terms, programs, deadlines, regulatory updates, and other relevant topics.

  • Monitor the performance of product and marketing programs through regular customer engagement, timely reporting, and ongoing product planning. Evaluate and pursue new marketing opportunities.

  • Develop relationships with trade organizations and customers to promote our products.

  • Commit to the ATM training curriculum for the duration of the training program.


What Skills You Need


  • We seek candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degrees in horticulture, biology, turf grass science, business, marketing, economics, agricultural science, or other related disciplines.

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills- demonstrated through in-person customer visits and written communication.

  • Technical aptitude - ability to learn technical skills and agricultural information to apply that knowledge in your territory.

  • The ability to collaborate and lead as part of a team - with a willingness to influence.

  • A customer-focused approach - to sales and service.

  • Proficiency - with standard computer technology.

  • Mobility - must have the ability to work in assigned territory and gain market expertise in potentially new geographies.
