Job summary

MaineHealth seeks an Associate Technical Training Analyst to onboard new hires on the floor, deliver small-group refreshers, and coach on Epic registration and Patient Access workflows. This on-site role supports go-live readiness and works with leaders on competency checks to improve performance and patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Certified in one or more application software certifications relevant to position.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting with training and curriculum design preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new hires on the floor and deliver small-group refreshers.
  • Provide side-by-side coaching on Epic registration/scheduling and Patient Access workflows.
  • Support go-live/upgrade readiness and partner with leaders on competency checks.
  • Identify and close workflow gaps through observation, feedback and training.
  • Promote performance, consistency and patient experience on the patient access teams.

Associate Technical Training Analyst (on-site)

Midcoast and Lincoln Hospital

This is a frontline training and coachingposition embedded with Patient Access teams at Midcoast and Lincoln. The Associate Technical Analyst serves as an In Department Trainer, spending most of the time on the floor onboarding new hires, delivering small-group refreshers, and providing side-by-side coaching on Epic registration/scheduling and standard Patient Access workflows. The role supports go-live/upgrade readiness, partners with leaders on competency checks, and helps close workflow gaps through observation, feedback, and training.

Note:This is notan IT analyst/build role. It’s a people-facing training role focused on performance, consistency, and patient experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • License/Certifications: Certified in one or more application or other software certification/experience relevant to position required.
  • Experience: Experience in a healthcare setting with experience in training and curriculum design preferred.

The pay range for this position is $31.79to $43.02 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
