YMCA of Greater Nashua is seeking an Associate Teacher to support high-quality early childhood education alongside the Lead Teacher. You will help deliver curriculum, create engaging activities, and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment in the Merrimack Branch.

You will collaborate with a three-teacher team, participate in staff meetings and training (18 hours annually), and contribute to building strong relationships with children, families, and staff.

Competenze

• Nine college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Interest in supporting growth and well-being of young children.
• Ability to meet state licensing, background screening, and YMCA employment requirements.

• Assist Lead Teacher with curriculum development and classroom management.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and supervise play.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings (18 hours annually).
• Support delivery of Early Childcare program and supervision of activities.
• Maintain appropriate behavior standards using non-punitive methods.
