Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer or Systems Engineer as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing requirements, modeling, defining interfaces, and analyzing system capabilities within an IPT structure.

The role involves collaboration across engineering disciplines, external customers, and internal stakeholders to refine program requirements and pursue future technologies. A DoD Secret clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline required for Level 1 or Level 2.
• Experience working in Systems Engineering or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning.
• Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with program, functional and subsystem leads.
• Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts with configuration management.
• Engage with IPTs and external customers to communicate results.
