Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems unit seeks an Engineer Aeronautical – Flight Sciences Integration to support the Flight Sciences discipline across the VE CoTE. The role develops processes, manuals, and training to elevate technical excellence and ensure compliance, with collaboration across sectors and programs.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree with relevant experience, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 2 years experience or Master’s in STEM with 0 years.
• Experience in Air Vehicle Flight Sciences and related FS discipline areas.
• Experience using Flight Sciences analysis methods, tools, standards, and processes.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with digital design initiatives and solutions.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance (Top Secret/SCI eligibility possible) and PAR eligibility.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic vision and technical priorities for the Flight Sciences discipline.
• Develop process, tool, and training content to improve excellence and workforce capabilities.
• Collaborate with NG Fellows to advance emerging technologies across sectors.
• Maintain PrOP, PAL manuals, and Nimbus Process Models with program teams.
