Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary IPT in Oklahoma City. The role entails research, requirements development, modeling, and interface definition to drive new program requirements and pursue future technologies.

Responsibilities include writing specifications, managing artifacts, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across modernization and sustainment efforts. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret or higher clearance and background investigation within 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
• Experience in aerospace Systems Engineering: requirements decomposition, test planning, verification, integration, and requirements management.
• Familiarity with cross-functional teams and supplier management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
• Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Support interface/communication with program, functional and subsystem leads.
• Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts with configuration management procedures.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to verify and validate artifacts.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support cross-functional development, integration, and testing of system threads.
• Develop and execute program IFC plans and metrics with IPTs.
• Manage project execution rhythm, coordination, and reporting.
• Use JIRA or similar tools for issue tracking.
