Job Overview

The Solutions Engineer (SE) partners with Business Sales to sell T-Mobile for Business products and services by leveraging their strong technical skills, experience, and industry knowledge. SEs engage in pre-sales activities by consulting on customer opportunities to gain understanding of their business, identify their challenges, and develop solutions that meet their needs. They architect and design solutions utilizing T-Mobile or partner business solutions, equipment, and network. SEs provide technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and respond to customer technical inquiries.

SEs support Business Sales by reviewing customer opportunities and sales funnels, keeping teams informed of relevant technologies and industry trends. They also consult on technical aspects of products and services and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Sales Ops, and Care teams for feedback and support. Maintaining technical skills through training and certifications is essential.

Wireless Solutions Engineers (Wireless SE) Responsibilities
  • Understand and present T-Mobile wireless network and related technologies
  • Maintain expert knowledge of wireless devices and solutions
  • Facilitate coverage analysis and assist with in-building coverage requests
  • Discuss product roadmaps and network plans
  • Assist with post-sale support and escalations
Job Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Sales Activities: Support SMB sales teams, participate in customer meetings, facilitate coverage analysis, uncover opportunities, design solutions, prepare technical presentations, and support customer relationships.
  2. Technical Focus: Maintain technical knowledge, industry expertise, and pursue relevant certifications.
  3. Post-Sales Activities: Ensure positive customer experience, support troubleshooting, and conduct training and webinars.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Strongly preferred, Required)
  • 2-4 years in telecommunications, IT, or network engineering with solution sales experience (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $84,400 - $152,200 (including incentives). Base pay: $59,080 - $106,540. Actual pay varies based on location, qualifications, and experience.
