Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile team delivering scalable applications across digital channels. You will contribute from idea generation through design and full-stack development using modern technologies and patterns.

Required are a Bachelor's in CS/CE and 1 year in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns; 1 year in at least one modern language and experience with several web/cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable systems.
• 1 year experience in at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica) and two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, GCP or AWS.
• 3+ years with Java, Python (Django/Flask), C/C++, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
• 3+ years experience with Oracle OIC, OCI, APEX, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code meeting standards and perform code reviews.
• Generate ideas, explore technical solutions, and safeguard scalability and performance.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, plan sprints, and execute development tasks.
• Create tasks for stories and manage status in RTC or Jira.
• Monitor progress and report issues to senior developers or principals.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver features on schedule.
