Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 0–2 years of software engineering experience (internships, co-ops, or projects).
• Foundational software development principles, OOP, data structures, algorithms.
• Experience with Java or another OO language.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• REST APIs, relational databases, and Git.
• Understanding of software testing and secure coding practices.
• Ability to deliver incremental, testable units and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications, services, APIs, and UIs under experienced engineers.
• Translate requirements and designs into clean, maintainable code.
• Contribute to backend services using Java, Spring Boot, or similar tech.
• Contribute to modern web apps using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and support event-driven integrations.
• Work with PostgreSQL and basic data modeling and query development.
• Write unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in debugging, code reviews, backlog refinement, and demos.
• Contribute to security, observability, performance, and reliability.
